Description
This gearbox enables the indentation of gaskets in the Diacell OmniDAC gas membrane-driven diamond anvil cell. Indentation is one of the main causes of failures of gas membranes, since it pushes the membrane above its operation limits.
We always recommended the use of the clamping screws for the purpose of gasket indentation. The Diacell Gearbox makes use of the clamping screws to perform this task in a more controlled fashion.
